Crisis of Neoliberal Development and Territories. The Challenges for Study

Abstract

In the article it is argued that to explain the neoliberal capitalist crisis, the region continues to not be useful as an analytical tool, understood as an essentially homogeneous space, in a reality where globalization has the opposite effect. The article discusses the changes and complexity by traversing the contemporary neoliberalism, emphasizing differences is evidently in the territory. This is a more appropriate scale to examine specifically the capitalist impact, involving institutions and groups and their relationships, thereby analyzing the responses to the inequalities that neoliberalism in the globalizing process.
