Abstract



Domestic labour is not a new phenomenon. Nowadays, the demand for domestic service has not been diminished. In fact, it has kept the same level and indeed has been extended and diversified. In the contemporary world, where the population mobility has accelerated and increased dramatically, the relationships between employers and domestic workers is redefined. This article intends to describe and analyze Central American migrant women’s experience who join this labour market. The focus is put on the human interaction produced within the domestic space.
