Piedadenses Men and their Social Experiences in the Migratory Process Mexico-United States of America

Abstract

In this article I analyze the migratory process as a dynamic social space where borders of the gendersex system can be looked at. Thus, I consider the case of 14 men who are from La Piedad, Michoacán, and that migrated to the United States of America. The goal is to think about the social experiences regarding work and paternity. Also, the cultural relation constructed by subjects between the receptor country and the community. The conclusion is that there are continuities and changes in the traditional gender-sex system in the migratory space.
