Abstract

The surprising economic performance and growing political influence of the People's Republic of China are clearing up doubts regarding a change in global leadership and the configuration of a new world architecture. This paper adopts an analytical-empirical method approach to delve into the basis of the Chinese-style world order proposal which attempts to
change the classic paradigms of international politics. However, the Asian country faces great challenges to consolidate this project; much of the Western world considers it challenging. The aim of this article is to analyze the Chinese vision of world order and the challenges that the presence of a new rising power in the global system entails.
