Space, Harassment and Aggressor in Women's Life Stories

Abstract
This article analyzes five stories of young women on street harassment from a discursive and socio-pragmatic approach in order to determine the linguistic mechanisms used by speakers to construct space in their stories and categorize places as safe or insecure, this according to their evaluations with respect to free mobility and feeling of well-being. It is concluded that a feeling of vulnerability and nonconformity prevails in the participants, this giving testimony of the local and national scene.
