Abstract

This paper discusses the conflicting relationships on a given context of cultural diversity, among students of telesecundaria, where the formation of their identities is at stake. These are set on two dimensions: the socio-physical space and and the cultural symbolic one. As each of these elements contributes to the disposition of the own identity of telesecundaria students and that of the Other, this generates conflict and discrimination into the school and among the Totonac cultural group.
