Housing and Public Space: A Critical Overview of the Multi-Family Residential Complexes

Abstract
The aim of this paper is the study of the in-habit ways and its purpose is to evaluate de level of satisfaction in the relation between housing and public space in two multi-family residential complexes of the metropolitan area of Poza Rica and Coatzintla, Veracruz. Focusing on two analysis dimensions: spatial-environmental and social, in three interfaces: the city and residential complex, residential complex and housing, and public space and housing. In the context of changing the orientation of housing policy, it has been shown that the capacity of urban and architectural design has been weakened to create satisfying habitats; It tends to the physical and social fragmentation.
