Abstract

Local political parties have often been regarded as subsidiary parts of national-ranging political organizations. However, despite that, in many Mexican states there has been an emergence of local political parties that have no formal ties whit national parties. If we were to agree with this, two essential questions may be asked: how their lack of integration in the party system of the entity could be explained? and what elements do affect, to a greater extent, its absence in the mexiquense partisan context?
