Environmental Noise and Public Policy. From Present Time towards the Future in Azcapotzalco

Abstract
Cities have grown not only in size, population and activities, but also in their problems such as the environmental noise. The multiple processes that take place in the city generate it. The phenomenon has to be understood under the dynamics of our time to look for solutions and reduce the impact on the population. This work looks into public policy from the social and technical perspective, in order to mediate in a noise problem in Hidalgo’s park located in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. It also tries to suggest new ways of analysis and alternatives to these problems.
