Abstract

Over time, the study of human mobility has been based on demographic, sociological, anthropological approaches, etc.; few studies take into account the development of analytical methods that integrate the spatial dimension explicitly, this situation leaves incomplete the picture of this phenomenon. We apply spatial regression methods to identify determinants that explain the expulsion of labor from Mexico. In addition to socioeconomic factors, the construction of an accessibility index proved to be one of the most powerful explanatory variables.
