Abstract

The traditional image as considered to rural closely related with agriculture, has been modified. From a dynamic perspective of socio-territorial processes, we observe that rural environment is product of the convergence of multiple economic activities and lifestyles. In this regard, we examine from the point of view of social actors, the relationship between work, family and territorial identity on two municipalities in the Tehuacan Valley (Altepexi and Ajalpan), from the arrival the maquila clothing.
